At the same time the Justice Department aggressively goes after states that reject amnesty and pass legislation designed to protect Americans from the negative impacts of illegal immigration – Arizona and Alabama, with other lawsuits possible – it leaves the Utah amnesty/guestworker plan alone.
Why? One possible answer is that the conservative Utah legislature has provided the U.S. Department of Homeland Security the cover it needs to implement a widespread amnesty for illegal aliens, just like Romneycare is used as a defense against Republican attacks on Obamacare.
However, perhaps even more important is the leading role the Mormon Church played in passing Utah's amnesty law, since it provides the moral authority needed for the federal government to turn its back on millions of American children who are the victims of illegal alien identity theft.
Both the Homeland Security and Utah plans are designed to allow as many illegal aliens as possible to remain in the United States.
Under both plans, only illegal aliens with serious criminal records have to fear deportation. Both the federal and Utah programs allow child molesters, drug dealers, identity thieves, and murders to remain in the United States as long as they have not been convicted of their crimes. The Utah program goes even further by allowing family members of illegal aliens who are granted amnesty to remain in the U.S., even if they have been convicted of felonies, since they are not required to undergo any background checks. Furthermore, both plans allow illegal aliens who have committed serious criminal offenses but had them plea bargained down to remain in the United States.
In addition, both the Homeland Security and Utah programs sacrifice the interests of millions of American children as well as other Americans and legal residents who are victims of employment-related identity theft for the benefit of illegal aliens, their employers, and for the politicians who aggressively pursue Latino votes.
Finally, both approaches fail to treat rampant employment-related identity theft by illegal aliens as a serious criminal offense and both treat American citizens and legal residents who are victims of this crime as collateral damage that cannot be avoided if illegal aliens are to be protected.
In Utah, this means that the ten illegal aliens using the Social Security number of one nine-year-old Utah girl are given a green light to continue using her personal identifying data without any fear of adverse consequences.
So, we have finally reached the point where elected officials and bureaucrats give greater protection to illegal aliens than to American children and where spiritual leaders and the pillars of the business community stand by while the hopes and dreams of millions of American children are systematically destroyed.
Who would have ever thought it would come to this?
